Suspicious PackageIf you receive a suspicious package or letter:

  • Treat it as suspicious—call UTPD at 865-974-3111!
  • Some indicators of a suspicious package are:
    • No return address
    • Excessive Postage
    • Excessive tape or string
    • Stains
    • Strange odor
    • Strange sounds
    • Unexpected Delivery
    • Poorly handwritten
    • Misspelled words
    • Incorrect titles or address
    • Foreign postage
    • Restrictive handling instructions
  • Keep people away.
  • Don’t handle, open, smell, or taste.
