Safe at UT is an essential tool to enhance your personal safety while at the University of Tennessee. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to an array of safety resources. Users have convenient access to campus resources and services without having to search the internet for them.
Safe at UT Features
- Friend Walk to invite friends and family from your smartphone contacts to “walk” (or drive) with you virtually
- Place an emergency call to the nearest 911—no matter where you are
- Reach UT Police via emergency call or text
- Mobile Blue Light to simultaneously call and share your location with UTPD
- Report an issue to a variety of campus offices
- Access Wellness resources
- Maps and Parking and Transit resources
- Access to important resources in the safety toolbox like Be Ready emergency response information

- Students, faculty and staff can download and install Safe at UT
- Log in with your UT NetID and password
- Family and friends can also download the UT Knoxville a guest version of the app
