Football is known for fielding large numbers of student athletes on the gridiron. But few people think about the thousands of people from different organizations that must work together to provide a safe and satisfying event experience. This Saturday, one of many preseason training sessions was conducted for personnel who support the game day experience. The goal was to remind them that regardless of their role, everyone takes part in providing customer service and ensuring the safety and security of the event. Emphasis was placed on engaging fans as early as possible to address issues before they reach crowded areas like the stadium gates. Everyone from bus drivers to concessioners were reminded to “See Something, Say Something” by UTPD.
