The Student Health Center has been closely following the Centers for Disease Control guidance on the Ebola virus outbreak and coordinating with the Tennessee Department of Health to be prepared to address concerns from students and employees.
CDC urges all US residents to avoid nonessential travel to Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Liberia because of an unprecedented outbreak of Ebola.
CDC recommends that travelers to Nigeria protect themselves by avoiding contact with the blood and body fluids of people who are ill with Ebola.
